Maine and Tail Challenge….

When i was little i used to have long hair, till my mom went crazy with the scissors in a little thing we’d like to call an “inexpensive quick fix makeover.” Lets just say if i knew how much I’d miss my long hair now i would have never let her even pick them up. Im 19 now and over the years i have gone back and fourth trying to decide if i want long or short hair. Personally I’m a fan of the “V cut” (longer in front, shorter in the back somewhat creating a V shape with the hair) on the other hand I’ve purchased extensions from Sally’s Beauty Supply roughly 16-18 inches long and the “look” it gives me in my opinion is one that gives me confidence and empowerment within myself. Finally deciding on long hair i began to ask around and research as much as possible for ways to grow my hair anywhere from 5-7 more inches. This is how i began my Maine ‘N Tail 4 month challenge.

Maine ‘N Tail originally was a shampoo and conditioner created for the use of horses. Okay, okay i know you think I’m crazy. Brittney are you actually telling me you use horse shampoo? lol Yes! Think about it horses have great, long, shiny, thick hair. Maine ‘N Tail is also created for human hair.

HOW IT WORKS: Maine ‘N Tail has proteins which can be found on the back of one of the bottles that helps the hair to grow and creates strength. It helps your hair to be shiny, thick and prevents breakage.

HOW TO USE MAIN ‘N TAIL (Procedure): works best if…

1. use maine ‘n tail 2-3 times a week alternating with other shampoo’s and conditioners. EX. Tresemme Anti-Breakage Shampoo with Maine ‘N Tail Conditioner or Maine ‘N Tail Shampoo with Tresemme Moisture Rich Conditioner.

2. Use Heat Protectant when styling. If for that day you do not put any heat to your hair feel free to use the leave in Maine ‘N Tail conditioner or another one that you may already have.

3. If straightening try to stop an inch before reaching the ends of hair. This will help to prevent split ends and breakage.

WHERE CAN I BUY MAINE ‘N TAIL? Maine ‘N Tail can be found at places such as Walgreens, Walmart in the pet section, amazon, Target does NOT have it. The price varies from about $8-6 depending where you buy it from.

Four months from now i will be posting a video personally showing and explaining my experience with the growth and condition of my hair. If your looking to grow out your hair, take the Challenge with me, and in a month from now or four months from now leave a video or comment telling me about your experience with Maine ‘N Tail. Good luck
